3 Days Rwanda Gorilla Safari

This 3 days safari will start and end in Kigali. It will take you gorilla tracking in the Volcanoes National Park. Track the mountain gorilla in the unique vegetation of the Virunga volcanoes and enjoy the spectacular landscapes of Rwanda’s hills.

Day 1: Transfer to Parc National des Volcans

Arrive at the Kigali International Airport. You will meet our safari guide and after a briefing session, transfer to Kigali for a city tour. Visit the genocide memorial museum, the Nyabugogo market, handicraft shops, the Moslem quarter in Nyamirambo and the Franco-Rwanda cultural centre. Have lunch and later drive North of Kigali to Parc National des Volcans, which protects the largest remaining population of mountain gorillas. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Mountain View Lodge/La Palme Hotel/Kinigi Guest House

Day 2: Gorilla tracking

After breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for briefing. Begin the gorilla trekking activity and when the gorillas are located, you will have 1 hour to spend with them. Tracking the great apes through the light mountain forest on the slopes of the Virungas is a magical experience. After the exercise, return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, you can choose to explore the area with your private guide and vehicle, perhaps visiting nearby lakes and villages; go for a walk on your own in the farmland around the hotel; or just relax and enjoy the scenery. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Mountain View Lodge/La Palme Hotel/Kinigi Guest House

Day 3: Reserved for departure

Have breakfast and later be transferred back to Kigali International Airport to find your departure flight.
