4 Days Rwanda Safari - Gorillas, Golden Monkey Tracking Safari in Rwanda

The 4 days Rwanda Gorilla and Golden Monkey Safari will start and end in Kigali. Seeing some of the last remaining 700 mountain gorillas in the world is a fantastic experience and this safari takes you to Parc National des Volcans in Rwanda. It offers an opportunity to track gorillas and golden monkeys in the same park.

Day 1: Transfer to Parc National des Volcans
Arrive at the Kigali International Airport. You will meet our safari guide and after a briefing session, transfer to Kigali for a city tour. Visit the genocide memorial museum, the Nyabugogo market, a pottery project, the Moslem quarter in Nyamirambo and the Franco-Rwanda cultural centre. Have lunch and later drive North of Kigali to Parc National des Volcans. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Mountain View Lodge/La Palme Hotel/Kinigi Guest House

Day 2: Gorilla trekking
After breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for briefing. Begin the gorilla trekking activity and when the gorillas are located, you will have 1 hour to spend with them. Tracking the great apes through the light mountain forest on the slopes of the Virungas is a magical experience. After the exercise, return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, you can choose to explore the area with your private guide and vehicle, perhaps visiting nearby lakes and villages; go for a walk on your own in the farmland around the hotel; or just relax and enjoy the scenery. Day 3: Golden monkey tracking
Have breakfast and be transferred to the park headquarter for golden monkey tracking. This activity gives tourists a pleasure to view the rare species of monkey. The golden monkeys are little known and endangered species. The Monkeys react and interact differently and will keep on playing hide-and-seek much to the delight of the visitor. In the late afternoon, you can decide to carry out the community walks and visit the village projects or local schools. Day 4: Reserved for departure
Have breakfast and later be transferred back to Kigali International Airport to find your departure flight.
